Bruce is a far out visionary and very interesting guy I had the chance to meet at lunch Tuesday afternoon at the conference. As a virtual worlds pioneer and well connected tech guru, he was full of great stories of Burning Man, CEOs in giant condom costumes, details of how Apple ripped off Xerox (apparently an article in next month's Wired) and other tales involving Joan Baez, William Shatner, hacked satellites and the effort to properly credit pioneers of the information age not named Steve or Bill. I'd love to condense some of these riffs into a book or a screenplay someday. I could be the Hunter Thompson of the tech world, minus the drug issues, paranoia, and gun fascination.
